Scholarship Questions:
Please note that the scholarship deadline is January 15th, 2018. Scholarship applications cannot and will not be accepted after this date. One scholarship is awarded per training to a student with significant financial need and a desire to use yoga to give back to the community and the world. Complete this section only if you are applying for the scholarship. Use the back of this page or attach another sheet if needed. Scholarship decisions will be made by January 31st, 2018.

Teacher Training Policies
Please read carefully and sign below.
Pre-Requisites
All teacher trainees must have at least 6 months of yoga experience, averaging at least one day of practice per week. Experience can be in any style or tradition, although Vinyasa and related styles are preferred. Trainees must be familiar with Sun Salutation A and basic standing poses (i.e., Warrior 1 & 2, Triangle, Side Angle, Half Moon, etc.). If you have questions about required experience, please talk to Melissa prior to the first training date.
Financial Policies
Total tuition for the 2017 Sacred Glow Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is $2700. A $300 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of application and is required to hold your spot in the training. The remaining balance ($2400) is due by March 1st, 2018. A $300 discount is provided if the entire tuition amount ($2400) is paid by February 1st, 2018.

One scholarship is available per training session. Scholarships are based on financial need and the student's desire to give back to the yoga community. To apply for the scholarship, complete the scholarship questions on the application pageand turn in no later than January 15th, 2018. Scholarship applications will not be accepted after this date. Scholarship decisions will be made by January 31st, 2018. Scholarship tuition is $1700. Deposit policies remain the same for scholarship trainees. Please see “Scholarship Addendum” for information about scholarship payment plans.
Attendance Policies
Attendance is expected on every day of training. If any portion of the training must be missed, the material can be made up individually with Melissa at a rate of $50/hour. Any absence must be communicated as far in advance as possible. If absences become excessive or habitual, a trainee may be asked to leave the training with no refund.
Homework & Assignments
Throughout training, short reading and writing assignments will be given. Deadlines for all assignments will be given on the first day of training. All assignments are due on the specified day. If assignments are not turned in by their deadline, trainees will not be allowed to continue training until they are completed, and missed material will be made up with Melissa at a rate of $50/hour.

Scholarship Addendum
Scholarships are awarded to trainees demonstrating financial need and an intention to teach yoga to underserved populations. All scholarship applicants will be offered a nine-month payment plan, spanning February through October.
All scholarship applicants must submit a non-refundable deposit with their application. The first payment is due by February 15th. Subsequent payments are due by the Friday of each training weekend through October.
Tuition balance must be paid in full by the October weekend in order to graduate.
Please review the payment plan schedule below and plan accordingly. All payments must be submitted on time in order to continue in the teacher training program.
