Operation Instruction
How to turn on your Par Caddy.
When you plug the battery connector into the socket you will notice the green light on the
control panel flashing - this is stand-by mode. To operate the machine you need to hold
down the black on/off button for 2-3 seconds - the green light will turn to solid. Now
you can operate the machine with the remote control. To go back to stand-by mode, hold
the button down for 2-3 seconds and the light should go back to flashing. Now you can
disconnect the battery cable from the socket.
Start
Press start button for more than 2 seconds, the indicator light (on control panel) will turn steadily green. (Note: The green indicator light has been moved to the Control Panel on the production models)
Tip: You can put your trolley in standby status by holding the on/off button down for more than 5 seconds, the indicator light (on control panel) will flash.
Emergency Stop:
For immediate stop in running mode, or for saving what you have adjusted in adjusting mode.
2. Basic operation
Directions: 4 directions (Forward , Backward, Left ,Right)
Hold down the forward or reverse button to accelerate in that direction.
Each press will increase or decrease speed one increment.
Speed: Preset speed buttons 1-4 (4 for fastest speed)
3. Adjusting Functions
Adjusting Motor Deviation To Track Straight
Over time, the mechanical properties of the 2 motors of the trolley will have comparative deviation, which will make the trolley unable to follow a straight path. To recalibrate the motor, please follow the steps below.
1. Keep Pressing the Start /Set Button until the LED on the Handset flickers. The trolley will advance at a very slow pace; this indicates that it is in adjustment mode.
2. To adjust the trolley to left side, press Left Button.
3. To adjust the trolley to right side, press Right Button.
4. To save your settings and end the adjustment mode, Press EMERGENCY BRAKE.
- Adjusting Cornering Force
You can adjust the cornering force accordingly to achieve better performance on your specific golf course.
1. Keep Pressing the Start /Set Button until into adjustment mode (same as step A 1. ), then press FORWARD/ACCELERATE or DECELERATE/REVERSE and trolley will stop, this indicates that it is in Steering-Force-Adjustment Mode.
2. Press the FORWARD/ACCELERATE to enhance cornering force and achieve a stronger turn.
3. Press the DECELERATE/REVERSE to reduce cornering force and to achieve a gentler turn.
4. Press LEFT or RIGHT to test result.
5. Press the EMERGENCY BRAKE to save your settings and end the adjustment mode.
- Speed Memory
You can set personal speed for each Speed Button (1, 2, 3, and 4) according to your preference; as follows:
While the trolley is moving forward at your personal speed, keep pressing any Speed Button (1, 2, 3, or 4) until the LED flickers, this speed will be remembered in this button.
D) Resume Speed to factory setting
You can resume the Speed Memory of each Speed Button to factory setting, as follows:
1) Go into Steering-Force-Adjustment Mode,(Same as step B 1.)
2) Press any Speed Button (1, 2, 3, or 4) to resume the speed of this Speed Button to the factory set.
3) Press the EMERGENCY BRAKE to save and end the adjustment mode.
E) Resume System to factory settings
If you need the electronic system of your trolley to resume to factory settings, follow below steps:
1) Go into Steering-Force-Adjustment Mode,(Same as step B 1.)
2) Press Speed 1, Speed 2, Speed 3, Speed 4 in turn, andPress the EMERGENCY BRAKE to resume all settings to the factory set.
4. Code Matching
This Remote can be used with any MC101R-2010 by coding, just follow steps below.
- Connect the Remote to Receiver (control panel underside) using the USB cable provided.
- Hold the black control panel button down for 2-3 seconds to power on the trolley. The remote LED should flicker indicating connection established.
- Press the Start / Set button once on the remote. After LED indicator flashes more than 16 times, the coding is complete. Press Emergency Stop to save the coding, remove the USB cable and test the remote with the trolley.
5. Warning system of the Remote (Handset)
Indicator light on Receiver.
When turn Steadily RED (Red light is on all the time), Caused by over-voltage .
To correct: Press Emergency stop on Remote, or Press Stop button on Receiver
When Red light is flashing rapidly, caused by over-current.
To correct: The Red light will flash very fast, you should press Emergency stop on remote to stop the trolley.
When the Red light flashes more than 25seconds and you don’t react, the trolley will stop automatically for self protection, please press Emergency stop Button to stop the trolley.
When Red light is Flashing Slowly , Caused by High Temperature
To correct: Let the system cool down for a few minutes (operate manually).
Recharging the battery in the Remote Control handset
- Plug it into the USB port on the underside of the control panel with the main battery in the tray and the machine powered on. Let charge for 5-6 hours.
- Plug the remote USB cable into a powered USB 2.0 port on your home computer – let charge for 5-6 hours.
