Public Research Licensing is for use in which all results and all models will be made publicly available without charge or restriction on use.

Notes: Prices include 1 year of maintenance. Documentation is electronic. Printed User's Guides may be ordered separately at $25/copy. Upgrades and Maintenance as well as new licenses for Vensim PLE Plus can be purchased online. Maintenance entitles you to electronic upgrades and technical support and will be extended from the current expiration date (one year of maintenance is included in the initial purchase). Maintenance may be extended up to 18 months into the future. If maintenance has lapsed for more than 6 months there is a 50% discount on prior periods required to make maintenance current.

You qualify for this discount if your use of the software is in compliance with the terms below. Please read this carefully then complete, sign and date this form. Vensim will not be shipped until this form is received.

I certify that the above is true and that: (a) I will use the Software only for work that is to be published or otherwise made publicly available; (b) all models and supporting electronic documentation used with the Software will be made publicly available without charge beyond distribution expenses; (c) all such models will be made publicly available without restriction or under a free license (such as the GNU general public license) that does not put any constraints on manner of use; (d) I will not use of the Software on any research that is classified or otherwise restricted by any government entity; (e) I will not use the Software on any research for which the full results are not publicly available; and (f) I will use the Software with data that is not publicly available only if all results are reported in a manner that is consistent with the standards of peer reviewed scientific journals.
