Accountabilities:

·  Partnering with Project Management, Product Development Management and Business Development Management to provide specialist expertise and answer technical and design questions regarding products

·  Maintain strong knowledge of Pyrotek’s products/services as well as those of key competitors (including core functionality, artistic performance and technical specifications) in order to enable Pyrotek to demonstrate how product/services can meet and exceed customer expectations, delivering value and strengthening client engagement and satisfaction

·  Conducts detailed product demonstrations, supportpre-sale activities and assist in client project execution, where required

·  Assist in the development and delivery of training in relation to the company’s products/services to warehouse technicians and road

Key Responsibilities:

·  Provide timely and knowledgeable product support (design, usage, limitations, maintenance, field and shop repair) to Project Managers, Business Development, Sales, Operations and R&D

·  Provide product support and tools to Project Managers, Product Development managers and Business Development managers and other staff that will drive sales

·  Create pick lists as required by Project Managers and COO

·  Partners with Project Management, Product Development Management, Facilities and Operations Management and COO to recommend equipment procurement and researches, sources and completes procurement as required

·  Provide Aqua, Laser and Special Effects technical support and advice to our road crew, project management, product development management, business development and facilities teams

·  Maintain a detailed understanding of all NFPA requirements as it pertains to Special Effects and CDRH and FAA requirements for Lasers.

·  Assist in the training and certification of Road or Shop technicians with a goal of making them completely self-sufficient at managing and repairing Pyrotek’s equipment

·  Advise the senior leadership on new market trends that may impact our equipment and product lines. Help build the business case to acquire new assets when appropriate.

·  Assist the facilities management team with day-to-day management of Pyrotek’s equipment as directed by the Facility Manager, Operations.

·  Work collaboratively across the organization to achieve team and company goals

·  Ensure that the above activities are conducted in a manner consistent with the Company’s Core Values and lead by example in this respect when dealing with the Company’s shop staff and road crews.

Professional Qualifications:

·  Successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ professional laser display and/or installation experience encompassing system/show design and laser maintenance in addition to complementary experience in staging, lighting, sound, event production and show control technology, or experience in a closely analogous discipline

·  At least 5 years of professional pyrotechnic experience encompassing system and show design in addition to complementary experience in staging, lighting, sound, event production and show control technology

·  Or prior experience within the concert touring, television broadcast, professional theme park, theater or corporate industry in a technical capacity (electrical, mechanical, special effects, pyrotechnics, lasers) preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·  Pyrotechnic License, theatrical/proximity preferred

·  Good understanding of pyrotechnic, flame, cryogenics and atmospheric effects and related safety considerations

·  Solid technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills with electronics and electrical control systems

·  Practical knowledge of electrical testing equipment to diagnose problems

·  Experience with show control systems –Pangolin, Beyond, MIDI , SYMPTE, DMX, address and control protocols

·  Understanding of Pyro Control Systems

·  Good understanding of optics

·  Proficiency in computer sequencing and control software

·  Mechanical aptitude

·  Advance plumbing or fabrication skills

·  Problem solving skills

·  Awareness of health and safety issues at all times
