Haven Day Centre, the working name of the Disabled Christian Fellowship Premier Workshops is a registered (1059468) charitable organisation. Our mission is to provide quality day-care and stimulating activities for vulnerable adults within a Christian environment, in comfortable surroundings, through a commitment to the core values of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, spirituality and fulfilment.

We aim to maintain high standards of good practice within an environment that encourages our attendees, who we refer to as ‘Members’ to thrive as individuals and employees to practice as caring professionals.

We operate our Centrein a transparent, open manner and we therefore welcome visits and inspections from all relevant regulatory bodies and local authorities and ongoing visits from health professionals, care providers, students, other professionals and interested parties.

As far as it is practicable our services are open to all vulnerable adults who may have a physical or sensory impairment or have additional needs. Admission is based on our capacity to meet the assessed health, personal and social needs of the individual applicant and this is reviewed as required.

Our well-trained staff are carefully selected because they uphold the values of the Trust: Respect, Compassion, Innovation and Creativity, Excellence, Equality, Well-being, and Partnership.

It is the objective of Haven Day Centrethat our ‘Members’ shall be provided, within a Christian environment and with Christian principles, a clean, comfortable and safe environment and be treated with respect and sensitivity to their individual needs and abilities.
