RELEASE FOR USE OF LIKENESS
This agreement is made between Mattel, Inc., its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “Mattel”) and ______, an individual(s).

I understand that Mattel is engaged in the business of researching, creating, licensing, marketing, developing and promoting toys, computer software, and Internet websites and products (collectively, “Products”), including without limitation Mattel’s website
On this basis and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I hereby give to Mattel, its subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, legal representatives, successors and assigns, and to such other persons as Mattel may designate from time to time, and all persons or corporations acting with its permission or upon its authority, and all persons and corporations for whom Mattel is acting (all, collectively, “Mattel”) the absolute and exclusive right and unrestricted permission to copyright and/or use, and/or duplicate, and/or distribute in perpetuity my picture, voice, name, likeness, statements, biographical data, photograph(s), photographic portraits or pictures of me, or in which I may be included in whole or in part, or composite, or distorted in character, or form, and illustrations, computer graphics and other renderings of me or my characteristics (“Likeness”) either alone or accompanied by other material, or reproductions thereof, in color or otherwise, in any manner and in any media of any nature whether now known or hereafter devised, including without limitation all forms of software, hardware, internet and online media, motion pictures, television, books, video, and CD and DVD media, throughout the world, in perpetuity. Without limiting the foregoing, I irrevocably authorize Mattel to publish and otherwise utilize the Likeness throughout the world in connection with the Products and in connection with all Mattel owned, licensed or distributed properties and all other businesses of Mattel as well as in association with the art, manufacturing, research, development, marketing, merchandising, advertising, distribution, trade, sale and promotion of the Products, all Mattel owned, licensed or distributed properties, and all other businesses of Mattel or any other lawful purpose whatsoever. I agree that Mattel may elect in its sole discretion to use or to refrain from using my name in association with the Likeness and may use a pseudonym or fictitious name in connection with the Likeness.
I agree that any copies of the Likeness, including but not limited to copies of the Likeness that may be contained in the Products, are owned by Mattel. I agree to assign and hereby assign any rights in said materials to Mattel.
I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect and/or approve the unfinished product, the finished product, the advertising copy, or any other use made in connection with the Likeness. I agree that Mattel shall have the unlimited right to vary, change, alter, modify, add to and/or delete from the Likeness, and to rearrange and/or transpose the Likeness, and to use a portion or portions of the Likeness together with or as any other literary, dramatic, or other material of any kind.
I hereby represent and warrant that all clothing, shoes, jewelry, or other articles worn by me, and their use in said photographic portraits or pictures, other than those articles furnished by Mattel, will not violate the right of privacy of, or be a libelous or slanderous against, or violate any other rights of any person, firm, or corporation.
I hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Mattel, its legal representatives and assigns and all persons acting under its permission or upon its authority and those for whom Mattelis acting, from any liability, loss or damage (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) caused by or resulting from any blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur in the use of said photographic portraits or pictures, or in any process involved in the completion of any finished product, as well as the use of the Likeness in accordance with the terms hereof, including what might be deemed to be misrepresentation of me, my character or my person due to distortion, computer animation or other modifications, optical illusion or faulty reproduction, as well as any claims I may have now or in the future for libel, defamation, invasion of privacy or right of publicity, or violation of any other right arising out of or relating to any utilization of the rights granted under this agreement. I irrevocably waive any right of droit moral in the Likeness or any products or services incorporating the Likeness.
Nothing herein will constitute any obligation on Mattel's part to produce, distribute, or make any use of the Likeness or any of the rights set forth herein. This agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, and contains the entire understanding of the parties. It cannot be changed except by further signed and written agreement.
I am over 18 years of age, have read and understand the contents of this document, and have the right to make this agreement for the use of my likeness.
