Issue 2 Week Ending 02/05/14
It has been a very busy week with lots of digging for our Comenius garden. We are most grateful for the guidance and advice we have been given. If you are able to volunteer your time and expertise please let us know. The children are excited too about being able to contribute. It was so lovely to hear about how many families from our school turned up last Sunday to assist with the cleaning of our local beach. Thank you for your collaborative effort. Over 60kg of hazardous rubbish was cleared from this area. Last week our children were entertained by Alan Bennet who came in to share his adventures when travelling around the world. We have been able to adopt two orphaned baby orang-utans and we will look forward to sharing regular updates on their progress with you. Thank you to all the families that made a contribution towards the donations. We have seen some super work this week with great mathematicians from the Ducklings and improving writers from Year Three.Keep it up!
Our Tuesday assembly was a success so please continue to send your child in with a record of their achievements.
