TOPICS:Three topics rotate monthly. It is OK to take these “Modules” in any order!

  1. Organizing, Recording & Reporting: foster home resident & home record rules, critical abuse reporting, how to write quality progress notes (SOAP), incident reports, fire drills, staff time tracking & 1:1 hours.
  2. Medication Management: rules on MAR’s, Dr. orders, Balancing Tests, setup meds, and real risks (“fatal four”).
  3. Tracking Resident Moneyon rules, tracking & utilizing child or adult foster care residents’ money for personal spending & Room & Board, critical ISP & “best practice” planning,wage reporting, and role of Rep Payees.

WHEN: 6:00 to 8:00pm on the THIRD THURSDAYEVENING of every month!

WHERE: Class sites listed above. Paid registrants will be notified if sites or dates must be changed, but it’s rare.

COST:$15per module/per person IN ADVANCE (Co-Op member* rate) *Note: All foster care providers for children or adults funded by DD Services get Co-Op member rate – for all DD Training Co-Op classes! State accredited AFH-DD training hours = 2 per session!
