This letter of reference is submitted on behalf of MsJanet BowenR.N whom I met while I was Nurse Manager on Briger 3 at Kingsbrook Jewish Hospital. Ms. Bowen worked under my supervision when she was a new grad Nurse, about 3 years ago. I am proud and happy to submit this reference.
I highly recommend Janet Bowen as a candidate for employment. Janet was employed as a Nurse Technician before, she has used her skills as a licensed phlebotomist and Electrocardiogram Tech to assist patients in many ways. Janet was responsible for overseeing results and relaying them to the doctor. She educated Patients during their short stay at Kingsbrook, and created brochures, newsletters, and other office literature.
Janet has excellent communication skills. In addition, she is extremely organized, reliable and computer literate. Janet can work independently and is able to follow through to ensure that the job gets done. She is flexible and willing to work on any project that is assigned to her. Janet was quick to volunteer to assist in other areas of company operations, as well.

During her rotation Ms. Bowen exhibited professionalism, outstanding leadership qualities, she was resourceful and an excellent team player. She was always on time and followed through with every assignment promptly. She was persistent, motivated to develop new skills and respectful of all during this period. Ms. Bowen is a very pleasant and calm individual whose critical thinking skills are excellent.
She is a very willing team player, who stands by the rules and regulation of the facility and has gain respect from her peers. I had the pleasure many times to nominate her for several awards during the time I have worked with her. Her motivation and skills will always be a shining example. Patients and families will benefit tremendously from the services that she will continue to offer.
