Directions to Evergreen House
UNC Campus - Chapel Hill
From Raleigh:
Take I-40W towards Chapel Hill.
Exit onto NC-54W - EXIT 273A - toward Chapel Hill and proceed several miles.
To Chapel Hill Town Pay Parking Lots
When you reach campus, stay straight - the road becomes South Road.
Turn right onto Columbia Street and proceed past several lights, including Franklin St.
Turn right onto Rosemary Street - there are pay lots on the right and left side of the street.
To Evergreen House
When you reach campus, turn right onto Country Club Drive.
Go straight - this road becomes Cameron Ave.
Just past the Old Well, Swain Parking lot will be on the right – if after 5pm, parking spots may be available.
Evergreen House is the white building within the Swain Parking lot.
From Durham:
Take 15-501S towards Chapel Hill.
Within the Chapel Hill town limits the road will fork - exit right onto Franklin Street.
To Chapel Hill Town Pay Parking Lots
Proceed about three miles up the hill - turn right onto Henderson Street.
Turn at the next left onto Rosemary Street.
After several blocks, there are pay lots on the right and left side of the street.
To Evergreen House
Proceed about three miles up the hill - turn left onto Raleigh Street.
Turn at the next right onto Cameron Avenue.
Just past the Old Well, Swain Parking lot will be on the right – if after 5pm, parking spots may be available.
Evergreen House is the white building within the Swain Parking lot.
From Greensboro/Winston-Salem:
Take I-40E towards Chapel Hill.
Take the NC-86 exit - Exit 266 - toward Chapel Hill.
You will now be on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
To Chapel Hill Town Pay Parking Lots
Follow this road approximately 3.4 miles into downtown Chapel Hill.
Turn left onto Rosemary Street - there are pay lots on the right and left side of the street.
To Evergreen House
Follow this road approximately 3.5 miles into downtown Chapel Hill.
Turn left onto Cameron Avenue, proceed about one block.
Swain Parking lot will be on the left – if after 5pm, parking spots may be available.
Evergreen House is the white building within Swain Parking lot.
