Minutes of December 9, 2007 Meeting of 50thAnniversary Reunion Committee:

Present:

Carol Bogin Spitzer, Joseph Casalaina, Bernice Greene Fleischer, Elizabeth Holtzman, Arth Klaw, Carol Lauro Green, Larry Strickler, Evelyn Vinetsky Jacobson, and Sheila White Samton. Not Present: Danny Davis and Ben Zablocki.

1.Sample Invitation, designed by Evelyn Vinetsky Jacobson, to Oct. 12 event was reviewed. Joe Casalaina will create camera ready proof and get additional printing estimates. Mailing should occur in mid-March. There will be a cut off date. No door sale.

2.Music will be provided by Len Allen

3.Larry Strickler, Sandi Durell and Richie Malone will provide entertainment.

4.Joseph Casalaina, Arth Klaw and Ben Zablocki will work on name tags

5.Carol Bogin Spitzer will purchase souvenir gift.

6.Sheila White Samton will work on centerpieces for the tables and design for the mugs

7.Carol Bogin Spitzer has put together a list of motels/hotels (with prices) in the Brooklyn area. This information will be included in the mailing.

8.Carol Lauro Green and Larry Strickler will get prices on cost of a professional video of the event. Hopefully one of the grads will do it and just charge individuals for the cost of the DVD.

9.Some of our teachers will be present at the event. Alice Eisen, Jack Pollack and Lester Spiserhave accepted our invitation. We hope to contact Herb Isaacson and Vincent Gargano. If you know of any other of our teachers who are alive please contact Larry Strickler.

If you have not visited the website ( ) in the past few weeks go on and see how many grads have now registered. The stories and photos are wonderful. Check out the Memorabilia and Photo Album. Also update your info on the “classmates” page. Add photos. If you don’t know how to do it, ask someone to help you or ask our "webmaster", Joe Casalaina ( ) to help you.
