Current Kits Available for Check-Out
Knotted Fleece Throws: Make a Knotted fleece throw for our patients. (Patriotic pattern for veterans and adult patterns for adult patients). Instructions and materials are available in kits. We ask, that, when possible, efforts are made to donate replacement fleece. This will help us continue to make blankets throughout the year.
Bookmarks: This kit can be received via email and returned to closest JourneyCare office. Instructions, template and ideas are sent to leader’s email. The group takes responsibility of gathering materials and printing the bookmarks on cardstock. Bookmarks are included in bags of books that are delivered to our Pediatric patients and their siblings. They will also be given to the patients with young ones in the home. A physical kit is also available. It will also include decoratable bags. These bags will be used for Soup and Stories and future Bag-A-Book.
CareCards: Create Birthday, Sunshine, or Veteran cards for our patients. The cards are delivered by the team and often displayed on bulletin boards and walls.
