Diagnostic Summary

Document diagnostic steps taken. Include diagnostic tools used.

The two 32-port SAN switches were tested with internal FabricOS tests. Units passed all tests ran, including memory and port testing. Post testing, memory testing and port testing output is included at the end of this document. The tape library was tested utilizing on-screen diagnostics on the front panel. Unit passed testing; however no tapes were present to test with tapes installed. All magazines lock and eject properly. All hard drives spin up, and LEDs indicate a good status. All power supplies run properly, and all redundant supplies were tested individually for redundant operation. The 16-port console switch and both 12-port SAN switches will not present a console interface. Individual arrays could not be tested electronically; however the LEDs and keypad/LCD modules display a functioning status. The interconnecting fiber was not long enough to allow testing the arrays connected to the 32-port switches.

Document cosmetic condition of asset. Include exterior and interior summary.

Rack sits severely skewed. As a result,some components could not be removed for complete inventory, and are listed with “No Capture” as the serial number. Doors do not latch. All drives can be removed from chassis, some take moderate effort to re-insert. Some light scratching on exterior.

Receiving and Storage Summary

Received the asset referenced in this checklist on 4-7-08. The asset was logged into the Inventory Management System and stored in a climate controlled warehouse. A detailed component level inventory and printed screen shots are provided within this document and in the Inventory Management System.
