2. Chip Holder Should Be Installed Into the Same Model Cartridge of Clip on Series

◆ Notes in use:

1. Please be careful when you take out of chip holder and install it, make sure not to touch chip point by hands or other metal materials, in casethe chip is damaged to cause non-recognized.

2. Chip holder should be installed into the same model cartridge of “Clip on” series.

◆ Installation steps for chip holder:

1. Unwrap the chip holder, and take it out.

2.Choose the same model cartridge, then unwrap the cartridge and take it out accordingly.

3. 4 positioning poles in cartridge must be inserted into 4 positioning holes in chip hold properly, make sure that 4 fasteners in cartridge should be fastened to suitable position in chip holder.

4. Hold the chip holder, and press it, then fastened it into cartridge well.

5.Remove the yellow tape of cartridge, then install

cartridge into printer.

◆ Installation steps for replacing new cartridge:

1. press “” ink button to move print head to the ink cartridge replacement position, then open the cartridge cover and take out of used cartridge.

2. Take out of chip holder from cartridge: hold the cartridge, and prize up chip holder carefully by firm facility.(see picture 3.4)

3. Unwrap the new cartridge, and install chip holder into cartridge according to above chip holder installation steps, then remove yellow tape and install cartridge into printer accordingly. (see picture 1.2)

4. After that, close cartridge cover and printer cover.

5. press “” ink button to move print head to the original position.

6.Installation is finished; then check the print head nozzle, if it’s in a good condition, printing can be started normally; if not, please clean it for one or more times, If it still doesn’t work, just leave it alone for ten minutes and check again

◆ Steps for resetting chips:

When printer indicates “little ink ” or “out of ink ”, reset chipsmethod: If the cartridge can’t be recoganized, Please press “” ink button to move print head to the ink cartridge replacement position , and take cartridge out of printer, then install cartridge again, after that, please press “” ink button to move print head to the original position.Note: Please reinstall the cartridge if it is unrecognized by the printer for the first time.
