(Something to Think About)

There are 168 Hours in a week, no more, no less. A person on average spends:
Forty Hours a week working*
Fifty-Six hours a week sleeping*
Twenty-One hours a week eating*
Five hours a week preparing a meal*
Five hours a week preparing for work or school*
Two hours a week doing lawn work*
Four hours a week cleaning house*
This comes up to One-hundred and Thirty-Three hours a week, which subtracted from 168 comes up to Thirty-Five hours a week left over. Allowing five hours a week for other interests, this comes up to thirty hours a week left over.
The leadership challenge is to foster an environment that compels members to trade part of their thirty hours of discretionary time for Auxiliary activities. Transformative leaders with personal power engage their members. Engaged members can’t wait for the next Auxiliary opportunity.
