TRACK & FIELD NEWSLETTER - JUNE 2016
Its been a very busy May with some excellent individual and team performances including 22 gold medals at the Surrey County championships, a team win in the Southern Athletics League & men’s and women’s vets league and we continued our promotion push in the Youth Development League with 2nd place in match 2. Last night Katie Snowden ran 2.01.98 in Belgium as she continues her bid for an Olympic place in the competitive women’s 800m.
June is also very busy for all agegroups: please contact your coach/ team managers as early as possible to confirm you can come and events and advise in good notice.

Match 2 Linford Christie Stadium, Du Cann Road, London W12 0DF
There will be a minibus to this match. Please contact team manager Geoff Jerwood on 07747 190603 . We were sixth in match one but it was very close so with a few more athletes we can improve our position

After two matches we are fifth in the league with 9 points alongside Eastbourne. We will need to cover all events to ensure we win this match. There will be a coach going to this match. Leaving time to be confirmed Please confirm asap that you are available.
SUN JUNE 19TH YOUTH DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE
Match 3 under 13/15 girls and boys starts 11.00 am Havering
After two matches we are second in the division but this is the crucial match as we need to beat home club Havering and Croydon. Please email Steve on to confirm you can come. Please try pole vault as we need under 15 polevaulters to ensure we cover all events – Eustace can help teach pole vault. Separate newsletter to follow. We will have a coach to this match
