Participating Membership

Welcome to Gold Country Irish Dance Boosters (GCIDB) ParticipatingMember level. Participating level members are the volunteers that are joining as they want to further promote Irish Dance in the community and support the dancers, teachers, and instructors. Participating level members application fee is $30, this fee goes towards the yearly government and state fees for our incorporation, with an annual renewal fees.

Participating member families will be required to provide 12 hours a year of volunteer support. Current volunteer hours included dancer participation in Reel Treble Makers Booster Club (Junior Boosters), performances, parades, workshops, fundraising, boosters meetings, and general support or management. As a benefit to Participating Members various discounts are provided to Participating Members over general membership.

Gold Country Irish Dance Boosters general meetings are be open to all members. Committee and management meetings might be limited to Participating membership. At any time a general member wishes to upgrade membership to a Participating membership, they will be required to complete this application. Currently general members are dancers and dance family members at O’Sullivan Academy of Irish Dance.

All Booster Club meetings are to be held in confidence as it pertains to the financial records and budgetary discussions and handouts, except as where must be disclosed to a government entity. Our ongoing relationship with outside vendors is privileged and confidential as well as any plans discussed for the future of the Booster Club. Specific vendors might request disclosure of fundraising and the Booster Club advertising through them for nominal fees, contractual agreements shall include confidentiality clauses that will pertain to the vendors’ requirements. Members violating the confidentiality of the Booster Club is strictly prohibited. If violation is determined and deemed irreparable to the Booster Club as an entity the consequence faced by the member will be based on the level of damage the Booster Club incurs. The violator may be under the discretion of the Officers, stripped of membership from the Booster Club based on the bylaws of the Booster Club. By completing and submitting this application you agree to be government and abide by our bylaws.

General Membership

Welcome to Gold Country Irish Dance Boosters (GCIDB) General Membership. As a current family dancing at The Kennelly School of Irish Dance, your family are all general members of the Gold Country Irish Dance Boosters.

This non-profit corporation has been put in place to promote Irish Dancing, the dancers, teachers, instructors, helping with costume management, get our dancers out for more performances and hopefully a competition. We have two level of membership, general members and Participating members. Participating level members are the family volunteers that are managing Gold Country and working to promote Irish Dancing in the community through performance bookings and are running various fundraisers. Participating level membership is $30 and as Participating level, parents get a reduce cost on rentals, embroidery, and workshops. Participating level members application fee is $30, this fee goes towards the yearly government and state fees for our incorporation, with an annual renewal fees.

Gold Country Irish Dance Boosters general meetings are open to all members. Committee and management meetings might be limited to Participating membership. At any time a general member wishes to upgrade membership to a Participating membership, they will be required to complete the Participating Member Application.
