Restoration Expertise: This aircraft was restored by Tony Blum of Turn and Bank Aviation, and Larry Tobin of Spokane,Washington in 2015. Both men are well known and respected in the Stearman and Vintage Aircraft community as Premium Stearman Mechanics, and Historians. Both have restored various Aircraft which have led to EAA Oshkosh Champion Status. Build Time is estimated at well over 1,000 man hours.

Metal Seats, Control sticks, and Floors as it would have been originally equipped in 1942. The entire cockpit and interior is restored in accurate zinc chromate finish with original panels,instruments,and accessories.

Original inertial starter with external hand crank,and prime system (Electric Start also)

The aircraft is finished in authentic 1942 Navy Training Command Livery with correct placement of all symbols,correct paint colors with accurate stencils and dope codes. The finish is accurate with slight fabric weave detected and not glossy as on many restorations.The aircraft is accurately representative of a Navy Trainer of the period

The only inaccurate additions are modern transponder w/ encoder King KT-76A, Garmin GTR-225 Com radio, and PS Engineering intercom for enhanced Safety.
