ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Who May Apply

Any currently enrolled undergraduate student in the Department of Dance who has a GPA of 3.2 or higher may apply for merit-based scholarship consideration.

Who Must Apply

All current scholarship recipients – since renewal is NOT automatic.

All current recipients of Department of Dance scholarships must reapply.

Procedures for (Re)Applying

1.  Complete application form

2.  Attach a personal statement to the application form [500 words]. Explain why you feel you should be awarded a scholarship. Possible discussion points to include are: the contributions you have made to the Department of Dance, how you have progressed in your dance knowledge, skills and artistry, and creative research in the form of choreography. Please list performances you have participated in, both within the Department and in other venues. You are encouraged to provide any information that you feel will assist the Department in evaluating your application.

3.  Submit all application materials to the Dance Office by 4PM, Monday, April 10, 2017.

Applications received after 4PM, Monday, April 10, 2017 will not be considered for 2017-2018 merit-based awards.
