You will be creating a slide show to raise awareness about Exceptional Children’s Week in our school. Use the rubric listed below to guide you thru your PowerPoint Presentation.
Using the websites listed below to gather information, create 6 slides to raise awareness about Exceptional Children’s Week:
Slide 1: Title (Exceptional Children’s Week), Name, period, date, & picture)
Slides 2-6: These slides can be used to list information about any or all of the following topics- Special Olympics, The R-Word, Autism, Diversity, Council for Exceptional Children, Disability Rights, Discrimination, Overcoming Attitudinal Barriers, What is the National Center for Learning Disabilities, National Down’sSyndrome Society
You must include detailed information on each slide, failure to do so will result in a lower grade. You are allowed only one slide of just pictures. / 90 pts.

Each slide must have a slide transition, if you need help with this refer to the animations tab on the ribbon) / 5 pts.
You must include at least 5 Pictures (all pictures must be formatted with a shape, border, or shadow) / 5 pts.
