Things to look for when your child comes home from school:
- Planner – homework will be listed and there will be occasional notes about class needs; please sign and return; also use the planner to communicate with me
- Take-home folders will contain any homework and information sheets
- Monthly book orders
- Volunteers- please let me know if you would like to volunteer in the classroom
- Communications from school to home:
Email – please make sure I have an up to date address
DoJo – I have sent an email inviting you to join. You can put an app on your phone or can access through email
Planner – please remember to check planners daily for things your child needs to bring to school, i.e. tennis shoes, library books, book orders, etc.
Three important events:
- Birthdays – we love to celebrate them, please let me know ahead of time if your child chooses to bring a birthday treat
If your child has a summer birthday, we can celebrate ½ birthday or any time that works for you.
- Parents coming to lunch – Our lunch is at 12:35 p.m.
- Each student will have a week that she/he is the star student. The student will fill out a poster of things they like to do. Students may bring things to share from home, i.e. pictures, awards, collections, etc. This is a good week for a parent or grandparent to come for lunch.
