- Label the events from the lecture notes on a timeline. Dates should be available, but if not, please use the resources available (textbooks, internet) to acquire them. Be specific with a month and year that an event occurred or began.
- The timeline must be in chronological order (meaning in the correct order of each event from the earliest date to the latest date)
- Create a visual for each event. You can draw this or print on of the internet; pictures do NOT need to be in color.
- Create a hashtag saying for each event that describes what happened
- Ex: Rosa Parks - #she sat down to stand up for her rights
- Choose 3 (3) of the above events and write one paragraph each that explains who was involved, what the event was, the important people involved and why the event was important.
- Your paragraph must be done in the step-up-to-writing format
- Green = Topic sentences (introduce the event explaining when and where it happened as well as who was involved.)
- 2 yellows = Reasons, Details, Facts (what happened and why it was important)
- 2 reds = explain the event; give an example, etc…
