Business Education Classroom and Computer Lab Rules

General Rules

-In your seats when the bell rings to start class

-No rolling around in the chairs

-NO Sitting on tables or counters

-Always prepared with class materials (NO Locker Passes)

-Treat others with respect

-Take responsibility for your own actions

-In your seats when the bell rings to end class

-If permission is granted one student out of classroom at a time

Food & Drink

-NO Food

-NO Drink

-All food must be eaten before entering the classroom

-All drinks must be finished and put into the garbage before entering the classroom

Computers and Computer Lab

-Computers can not be used without teacher permission

-Computers can only be used for class related tasks

-Internet Rules and Regulations see Internet Rules

Test Day

-Students will be given one hour to complete them

-Bring other work or something to read with you on test day (NO Locker Passes)

-The classroom will be silent until all tests are turned in

Tardiness

-Student is tardy if he/she is not in the classroom when the bell rings

-Each student will be given 2 free tardies after that the student will owe me 10 minutes for every additional tardy

-If a student reports to class with a pass then the tardy is excused

Electronic Devices (Cell Phones, MP3 Players, etc)

-Electronic Devices are NOT allowed in the classroom

-If an Electronic Device is seen it will taken away

-If an Electronic Device is heard it will be taken away

Language

-Appropriate Language used in the classroom

-Inappropriate words are of my discretion

Bathroom Uses

-Each student will be given 5 bathroom uses per term

-Use them at your own discretion but, when they are gone they are gone

Late and Make-Up Work

-All late work turned in will have a maximum value of half credit

-Students who are absent have that number of days to get the work in they missed

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILTY TO GET THE WORK YOU MISSED

-All tests must be made up by term deadline or an incomplete will be given

Academic Honesty

Omro High School is committed to a standard of academic integrity for all students. Students are responsible for the honest completion and representation of their work, for the appropriate citation of sources, and for respect of others’ academic endeavors. Omro High School will pay a special attention to the prevention and discovery of plagiarized materials. Any student who engages in an academic dishonesty will be disciplined. Know the difference between working together and cheating.
