PROCEDUES & RULES:

1) As the current Canara Bank C.O. Mangaluru possess a vast area under itself, hence it has been proposed to call for open tender from all eligible electrical auditors/ consultants/ engineers having a minimum of 3 years of past experience in the work of similar nature with any PSU or Govt. organisation.

2) The selection of entity for the above work will be done region wise as per our Circle viz. Mangaluru, Udupi, Hubballi, Belgavi, Goa, Madikeri, Hassan, Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga i.e. parties for conducting electrical audit for different regions will be selected separately. The electrical auditors/ consultants/ engineers pertaining to Karnataka state and/ or having base in a certain area of Mangaluru Circle will be given preference while assessing their Technical Bid for choosing the eligible entities. TECHNICAL BID FORM SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE.

3) The final selection will be based on the sum of marks obtained in the Technical Qualification and the Financial Bid. However all the parties scoring above minimum marks in Technical Qualification and Financial Bid will be given an opportunity for accepting the price of L1 bidder so that the work can be distributed and can be finished easily. FINANCIAL BID FORM SHOULD BE SUBMITTED IN SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE.

4) The marks split up for Technical Bid is as follows:-

a) Whether party is having relevant Work experience of above nature in any PSU or Govt. Organisation - 10 marks 1 year - 2 marks

2 year - 4 marks

3 year - 6 marks

4 year - 8 marks

5 year - 10 marks

b) Whether party is having working base in Karnataka and/ or any region of Mangaluru Circle - 5 marks Outside Karnataka - 0 marks

Karnataka but outside Mangaluru Circle - 2 marks

Karnataka and in any region of Mangaluru Circle - 5 marks

c) Whether the entity is a individual, a group of people or a company 10 marks

Individual - 3 marks

A group of people - 6 marks

Company - 10 marks

5) Only Technical Bid qualified parties will participate in Financial Bid.

6) The marks awarded for Financial Bid is as per below:-

L1 will be awarded 10 marks. The higher bidders will be awarded marks proportionately to the L1 rate. Ex:- Suppose L1 is `2000 so he gets 10 marks. Then a bidder who quoted `2500 will get 10 * 2000 / 2500 = 8 marks and so on.

7) A party scoring minimum 25 marks out of available 35 marks will be given offer to accept L1 rate in case he is not the L1 so that the work can be distributed and can be finished quickly.

8) Canara Bank reserves the right to award work and/ or cancel work for any party as per its requirement or in case of any exceptional situation.

9) The Electrical Safety Auditor requires to furnish their PAN No, VAT/Sales Tax No. Registration details of firm with TIN No, Service Tax No etc.

10) List of branches/ locations RO wise where electrical audit has to be conducted is enclosed in the Annexure A.

11) The Electrical fire safety auditor or firm must arrange for the conveyance, lodging expenses men and material required for conducting the safety audit at their cost. The quotations submitted will be region wise and should be inclusive of all costs applicable for that area.

12) Adequate care should be taken by the electrical auditor during the verification, measuring

and recording of the data.

13) Any damage to the Bank's property, equipment's under testing and measurement during

the electrical fire safety audit will be charged to the firm.

14) Bank is not responsible for accidental injury of any of the operating personnel involving

in the audit procedure. Personnel should be well trained and should have adequate knowledge in electrical safety aspects and handling of electrical equipment's.

15) 4 copies of audit report has to be prepared. 1 has to be submitted to the branch, second has to be submitted to the RO, third to Circle Office and fourth has to be retained by the electric auditor. Soft copy in the form of excel sheet of the data captured has to be submitted to the circle office unless which payment will not be made.
