Members of the Hereford Rural North Safer Neighbourhood Team are based atHereford Bath Street, Hereford. We work in the Wards of:-

Crimes and incidents of interest from 1st November to 31st November

Hampton Bishop

3rd Nov. Offenders have gained entry, without causing damage, to victim’s transit van. Once inside, a number of power tools have been stolen. Most of the items were Makita branded.

3rd Nov. From location in Hampton Bishop as above. Entry gained to victim’s transit van and a large amount of Makita power tools stolen from within.

Between 8th and 9th Nov. Theft of fuel from 2 agricultural vehicles. The fuel caps were unlocked but it is believed offenders have drilled the tanks and drained off the diesel.

Between 8th and 9th Nov. A coach was parked unattended overnight at the bus stop near to the Bunch of Carrots pub. During which time, offenders have thrown stones at the windows, smashing 3 of them.

Fownhope

Between 6th and 9th Nov. Offenders have approached a farm outbuilding via a long private drive located, in an extremely rural area of Hereford.

Offender/s have proceeded to gain access within a 50ft x 80ft metal constructed outbuilding with 2 entrances located at the front of the building without causing damage.

Offender/s have proceeded to make an untidy search within the outbuilding, stealing various power tools together with one Yamaha Quad bike VRM CN57WDY in Green without keys.

Preston Wynn

Between 1st and 2nd Nov. Theft of 5 feed barriers and 3 calf hurdles – heavy galvanised frames, taken from rural agricultural premises.

Between 21st and 22nd Nov. Theft of fuel from large fuel storage container within agricultural premises. Security locks forced by offender/s, allowing access to fuel.

Eau Withington

Between 17th and 18th Nov. Offender/s have approached victim’s vehicle and removedthe small turbo charged cooler radiator at the front, along with the front number plate. The plate was forced off and the victim believes that it had simply been forced off because it was in the way of the radiator removal.

Withington

Between 18:30 and 19:00 on 21st Nov. Victims vehicle was parked outside residential property in Withies Close. Between the stated times, person/s unknown have caused damage to the drivers side wing mirror.

Report received early hours of 15th Nov.

Extensive damage caused to Withington Village Hall during a private function. Ongoing Police enquiries.

Dormington

Between 15th and 16th Nov. Lawnlite Wood splitter stolen from an open barn in rural location.

Mordiford

Report received regarding parking concern’s outside MordifordPrimary School. Vehicles are reportedly parking on the pavement, making it unsafe for pedestrians. SNT are making further enquiries and patrols in the area.

Between 11th and 12th Nov. Report of stolen vibrating plate from secure premises.

Holmer

Between 17th and 18th Nov. Offender/s have used unknown means to remove 4 wheel trims that were attached with cable tyres to an unattended secure vehicle.

Byford

Between 5th and 6th Nov. Offender/s have approached a John Deere tractor on agricultural premises. The fuel cap has been undone and a quantity of sugar-like substance has been poured into the tank causing substantial damage to the pump.
