3 / 13 Feb / Introduction to‘Career Action Plan’
Students will complete their WRITTEN Career Action Plan – Students will hand this back to their teacher at the END of the lesson. Please return Career Action Plans to DDE, ABO or LWI.
4 / 20 Feb / How I Learn: Multiple Intelligences
·  Students are to complete Multiple Intelligences Quiz – Link on Moodle.
·  Once you have completed the test, write your top 2-3 intelligences and describe each so that you understand them. Choose an activity from the list after each description [use the link Multiple Intelligences – digging deeper] and complete this. / When students complete this they can assist to make a class poster with all of the Multiple Intelligence Test results displayed.

·  A discussion of strengths and weaknesses
·  Complete handout on Moodle / Assessment Tasks: to be added to the Careers Portfolio – These are major assessment tasks that will be ongoing this term and will be due at the end of the term.

·  Class brainstorm of interests – identify interests by completing handout.

·  Discussion of values, what they are and why they are so important
·  Complete the worksheet.
NB STUDENTS TO BRING A PHOTO OF THEMSELVES FOR NEXT WEEK. Teachers will need blue tac & scissors for next week.
8 / 20 March / How Others See Me
Class discussion of others perceptions.
Students put their photograph on a wall in the room.
Students cut up perceptions award sheet and give ONE award to each student [stick next to students photo]
Students create a table to show how others perceive them.
Promoting Myself
Students explore how they can view themselves in a positive way to develop a positive image.
Begin their major Assessment Task – students complete these assessment tasks and submit early next term.

*Careers Portfolio must be ready to be emailed with all worksheets next week.
