The Job
As a member of the CEO’s senior management staff, you will lead a team of HR professionals and have total responsibility for the corporate and plant-level Human Resources functions at our corporate headquarters/manufacturing operation located approximately 30 miles of Atlanta. This is an opportunity for you to use your knowledge and creativity as a strategic, self-driven HR professional. Key responsibilities include talent acquisition and development, regulatory compliance, benefits design and administration, employee and labor relations, compensation, AAP management, and community relations.
Education requirements
For this position you need a related Bachelors degree in a related discipline. Master’s degree would be a plus.
Experience and skills requirements
To qualify you also need 15+ years of related human resources experience, at least 5 of which must include a leadership role with corporate-level responsibilities. The ability to build partnerships with various levels of employees will be essential to your success. A solid understanding of employment law and other federal laws & regulations will also be critical. Experience must specifically include regulatory compliance, corporate-level benefits design and administration, talent acquisition and development, employee relations, and compensation.
Although not essential, experience in labor relations, AAP management, and public/community relations would be a strong plus.
