2:00pm–3:00pmVenture Capital’s Catapult Back into the Eco-Landscape

Over the last few quarters, venture capital investments moved from robust in 2015 to bust with the bottom dropping out to the tune of approximately $12 billion in 2016’s first quarter. Yet with no shortage of cash on hand, those interested in venture capital’s next big opportunities remain optimistic. With a pro-economic political environment, the prospect of trimmed red taxation tape, the upsurge of M&A deals due to the infusion of big data, and a need to relieve the sense of malaise in early-investing, this may be venture capital’s time to shine. Our panel of experts will discuss the current state of venture capital, what changes in our eco/political culture may mean for VC and what one may expect coming down the road in the near future.
