Nominating Petition for Administrative Vice President
A graduate or professional student may be appointed by vote of the General Council to serve as a Representative. If there is a vacancy, a candidate seeking appointment musts meet all eligibility requirements and submit a complete nominating petition to the Elections Director.
To be appointed as Administrative Vice President, a student shall submit a completed GPSC Nominating Petition including the signature and identifying information of twenty (20) eligible electors from the Constituency the petitioner seeks to represent. At least ten (10) signatures must be from any constituency other than your own. A petitioner shall submit a candidate statement, of not more than 200 words, explaining the petitioner's interest in serving on the GPSC, qualifications, and how the petitioner intends to contribute to improving the lives for graduate and professional students at the University of Arizona.

▪ Candidates for Administrative Vice President must obtain at least 20 signatures from graduate/professional students within the same constituency who are in good academic standing. At least ten (10) signatures must be from any constituency other than your own. Candidates must follow the GPSC Elections Code
▪ For elections purposes, students in the Colleges of Letters, Art and Science are considered as part of their home colleges, i.e. Arts, Humanities, Science, or Social and Behavioral Sciences. A list of all GPSC constituencies can be found online on the GPSC website
▪ Constituents may sign as many candidate petitions as there are open seats for the college to which they belong. Open seats are listed online at gpsc.arizona.edu/elections
▪ Students who wish to run must fulfill candidate eligibility and qualifications, as delineated in the GPSC Elections Code
