I. CALL TO ORDER:
•Pledge of Allegiance
II. CLOSED SESSION: If necessary, the Board may hold Closed Session for discussion of various items including personnel, collective bargaining, purchase of real property, and student personnel. Action taken in Closed Session must be approved in Open Session.
III. ITEMS SCHEDULED FOR ACTION:
1. Public Hearing Meeting Minutes: The Board is requested to approve the Public Hearing Meeting Minutes from June 20, 2014 as presented.
2. Regular Meeting Minutes: The Board is requested to approve the Regular Meeting Minutes from June 24, 2014 as presented.
3. 2013/2014 Unaudited Actuals Financial Report: The Board is requested to approve the 2013/2014 Unaudited Actuals Financial Report as presented.
4. Amended 2014/2015 Governing Board Meeting Calendar: The Board is requested to approve the Amended 2014/2015 Governing Board Meeting Calendar to change the December meeting date and to include a Public Hearing on June 19, 2015 as presented.
5. Request to Approve the Amended SJCOE Superintendent and Administrative Regulations-Independent Study AR 6158: The Board is requested to approve the Amended SJCOE Superintendent and Administrative Regulations-Independent Study AR 6158 with changes to the Written Agreements and Assignments Item #5-Duration of the Independent Study Agreement as presented.
6. Request to Approve the Amended SJCOE Independent Study Master Agreement for Venture Academy: The Board is requested to approve the Amended SJCOE Independent Study Master Agreement, with changes to the duration of one year instead of one semester as presented.
7. Consent to Election as Voting Members of the Governing Board: The Board is requested to consent to election of the following as voting members of the Venture Academy Governing Board.
•Janet D. Dyk, (Appointed by SJCOE County Board)
•Linda Melson (Community Representative)
IV. ITEMS SCHEDULED FOR DISCUSSION/INFORMATION:
V. COMMENTS: At this time, members of the community, staff members, or Board members may address the Board concerning items not on the agenda. Comments will be noted. Individual speakers shall be allowed three minutes to address the Board on each item. The Board shall limit the total time for public input on each item to 20 minutes.

• The next Venture Academy Governing Board meeting will be held on December 9, 2014, at 2829 Transworld Drive, Stockton, CA.
