School programs for 2016-17
Science Fair, Multicultural Night are top vote-getters for PTSA funds
Thank you to everyone who attended the October 11 meeting to choose our next set of events and programs! Based on votes and volunteer sign-ups, these programs will receive PTSA funding and support:
· Science Fair
· Multicultural Night and Talent Show
· Family Fun Nights (past examples include movies, roller skating, games, etc.)
Several other great ideas and programs generated interest. If enough people sign up to help, the PTSA will also fund and support:
· Indian Parents Committee
· Latino Parents Committee
· Literacy Program
· Math Challenge
· Mentorship Program
Want to be involved? Committees are forming now! If you'd like to help, please sign up via our Ardmore Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ardmoreptsa/ or send email to . There are lots of ways to engage, ranging from planning events with others, to tasks that can be done on your own during evenings or weekends.

Join other parents for coffee on Thursday mornings at 8:15, just after drop-off, to assemble Eagle Mail packets. We meet in the Ardmore conference room. No sign-up required. Contact Carrie vanRosmalen at .
News from Bellevue schools & community
Sign up for Bellevue Ski School, and 5% of your enrollment fee comes back to Ardmore
Join the Saturday Bellevue Ski School Program and give your student a full day of skiing. All levels are welcome for students who are in 2nd grade or older. Transportation is provided by Bellevue School District and Coach bus line. Discount pricing applies until Nov. 30th. For every Ardmore student who signs up, 5% of each enrollment fee goes to support the Ardmore PTSA. Find information and register at www.bellevueskischool.com.
Hear candidates for WA State Superintendent – October 24, Noon – 1 pm
You are invited to attend a public forum with the two candidates for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Erin JonesandChris Reykdal. Enjoy a complimentary lunch, and get answers to your questions. This event will be held in the Rainier Room of the WISC Building and is sponsored by Bellevue Schools Foundation and the Bellevue PTSA. Get ready to Click for Kids
Ardmore receives funding for many programs from the Bellevue Schools Foundation (BSF). Now is our chance to give back. Support BSF by joining in their annual Click for Kids and Text for Kids fundraiser by making a donation online at BellevueSchoolsFoundation.org or by texting KIDS to 71760. Gifts of all size are greatly appreciated and make the difference between basic education and the best education in our Bellevue schools.
