Facility:Two10 lane, 25 yard pools with permanently affixed starting blocks, 7’ minimum depth throughout the course. The Competition Course has been certified in accordance with USA Swimming’s Rule 104.2.2C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming.
Timing System:Colorado Timing System will be used with 2 manual back-up buttons, plus two back-up timers for each lane. Should the automatic system fail, a gun or horn start will be used.
Eligibility:All swimmers must be currently registered with USA Swimming. Swimmer’s age as of January 3, 2015 shall determine their age group for the meet. Out of state entrants must present a valid 2015 USA S card at the Scoring/Records Table prior to pool entry.
Rules:Official 2015 USA Swimming and WI LSC rules shall prevail at this meet.

Entry Fees:$6.00 per individual event.
$12.00per relay.
$3.00 WI LSC Splash fee per individual swimmer entered in the meet.
Entry Limit:Participation is limited to a maximum of three (3) events per day, plus relays. Age is to be determined as of January 3, 2015.
Format:The meet will be a combination of prelim/final events and timed final events. The top ten (10) individual qualifiers ages 9-14, and top twenty (20) Senior qualifiers from Saturday prelims will compete in finals Saturday evening. All Sunday events are timed finals. Swimmers should report directly to the blocks in all preliminary and timed final events as assigned in the heat sheet and should report to the Clerk of Course for all Saturday night finals events.
Disabled Swimmers:Coaches are encouraged to inform Officials and Meet Director of any special needs swimmers prior to the start of warm-ups.
Scratching from Finals: Any swimmer qualifying for a finals race in an individual event who fails to compete shall be barred from the remainder of the meet. Disqualification under this section shall only apply to swimmers qualifying based on the original preliminary results. In the event of withdrawal or barring a swimmer from competition, the referee shall fill the final when possible with the next qualified swimmer(s). Listed alternates, not to exceed two (2) shall be announced and posted. Alternates shall not be penalized if unavailable to compete in the finals. When finals have not yet been swum and a barring or withdrawal is known to the referee, the referee may reseed the final, if necessary, by inserting the alternate(s) in the appropriate lane(s), filling all lanes in finals. Finals shall include those events deck seeded but swum as timed finals in prelim/final competition. Swimmers must declare their intent to scratch within thirty (30) minutes after the initial posting of the individual event results at the table on deck in front of the office. Swimmers must officially scratch within thirty (30) minutes after their last individual event of the session.
Warm-ups:Session 1A&B: Saturday AM Prelims - Warm-ups 7:00-8:00 AM. Meet start 8:05 AM
Session 3: Saturday Finals - Warm-ups 4:00-5:00 PM, Meet start 5:05 PM
Session 4: Sunday AM Timed Finals - Warm-ups 8:00-9:00 AM. Meet start 9:05 AM
Session 5: Sunday PM Timed Finals – Warm-ups TBA, Meet Start TBA
Estimated meet timeline will be posted on our website at by Wednesday evening, December 31, 2014.
Wisconsin Swimming warm-up procedures will be in effect. Morning sessions will have 30 minutes of circle swimming with no racing starts. Feet first three-point entry from the starting end during general warm-ups will be enforced unless performing one way starts. During the second 30 minutes, sprint lanes will be opened as needed.
Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer of the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement
Deck Entries:The entry fee for deck entries will be $10.00 per individual event and $20.00 for relays. Deck entries will be allowed at the discretion of the Meet Director and only to fill open lanes if the time line permits. Additional heats will not be added. Deck entries close 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.
Deck Seeded Events:Entries may be limited by meet management to adhere to the four (4) hour session rule. Swimmers cut from these events by meet management will be refunded their entry fee or that fee can be used to deck seed in an open lane of another event.
Relays:Relay cards will be in the coaches’ packet. Cards must list the swimmers’ last and first names (names must be listed in order of swim) and the ages of the swimmers.
Coaches:Coaches’ Packets will be available in the office. Any monies owed must be paid before you can obtain your packet. Please be prepared to show your USA Swimming Coach’s Card at the time of picking up your packet. Coach’s cards must be visible at all times on deck.
Awards:Individual Events: Medals 1st – 10thplace for 14&Under
Relay Events: 1st – 3thplace ribbons
High Point Winner: 1stplace trophy will be awarded per age group and gender
Scoring:Individuals: 11-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Relays:Double points
Admission:$6.00 per session (prelim/timed finals and finals are individual sessions). $2.00 heat sheet for prelim/timed final sessions. Finals heat sheet included with admission.
Concessions:Food and beverages will be available on the premises. No food or beverages are allowed in the pool area.
Conduct:Except where the venue facility requires otherwise, changing in or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms and other designated areas is not appropriate and prohibited.
Meet Marshals shall have the authority to remove any swimmer/s from the meet for any violation such as improper behavior, damage to property, etc. Such teams are responsible financially for damage of property. Please make sure your team’s area on deck and rest area is picked up at the end of each session.
Limited seating for spectators with disabilities can be provided. Notify the Meet Director prior to the meet if assistance is needed.
First Aid:Injuries must be reported to the Lifeguard and to the Meet Director. A first aid kit will be located at the Lifeguard station.
Lost & Found:An area for lost and found will be located by the desk near the facility entrance. Items not picked up by meet end will be donated.
Meet Results:Results will be posted on the Wisconsin Swimming website.
