QUESTIONNAIRE

INTRODUCTION

We offer standard models as well as the ability to propose custom designed specific units to accommodate unusual applications.

Our preference is selling machines belonging to our existing range so that, without the need of structural changes, we can satisfy the need of the customer.

However, most companies have already available their own baskets and they do not wish to transfer their parts to new different baskets which accommodate the size of our standard basket-holders.

In this case our machine (basket-holder size) must be adapted to their available baskets, with the consequent design and altering implications.

The cost of this modification has to be determined after considering each individual situation.

In some case it is even necessary to carry out a fully personalised project of the machine, especially when special cleaning cycles are requested.

Assuming the customer does not require major structural modifications, the main points to consider are, in order of priority :

  1. Whether it is possible to let the parts bump inside the basket during the cycle. If not, the choices are more limited, e.g. pendular (gyrating) or static version. In some cases it is possible to use rotating baskets with inner partition and spring-loaded lids to keep parts separate and prevent excessive bumping.
  2. Maximum size of the part to be treated. This automatically eliminates versions with a smaller basket.
  3. Hourly volume to be treated. The duration of cleaning cycle may vary from around 10 to 25 minutes, depending on : Solvent type, Cleanliness to be achieved, Drying method, type of dirt to be removed, and type of version (rotating or pendular).
