Everett, Wash. — The jungle is jumpin’ with jazz and the monkeys are swingin’ to the beat in is this exciting KIDSTAGE Everett Ensemble production of Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids! Join Mowgli (Michael Wanner), Baloo (Addison Howley), King Louie (Nick Dominski), and the gang as they sing and dance their way through madcap adventures and thwart the ferocious tiger, Shere Khan (Brittney Jones).

Taking a contemporary spin on the jungle theme, this KIDSTAGE adaptation of the beloved film uses a playground jungle gym set to be analogous to the jungle backdrop of the story. Dressed in street clothes, student act out the traits of their animal characters on the playground, creating an updated story in which everyone can relate. While the look and treatment of the story have been re-envisioned, the musical stays true to the songs and includes favorite Disney tunes such as “The Bare Necessities” and “I Wan’na Be Like You.” With colorful characters and that toe-tapping jungle rhythm, Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids is sure to awaken the animal in everyone!
