Land Tech Accelerator Program

What: Up to 5 startup companies will pitch on Monday, March 12, after the Town Hall. The time of the pitches will be determined by how many companies qualify. They will get 3 or 4 minutes.

Contest Timeline:

September 12: Press Release sent out
November 6: Deadline for submissions
December 10: Date by which all winning companies will be notified
January 22: Press release sent out announcing winners
February: Blog posts highlight companies. This post will include paragraphs written by each company promoting their company. Each company will also be invited to write their own educational blog post.
March 12: Accelerator Pitches take place during NLC18

Eligibility

  • The company’s product or service must have launched no earlier than January 1, 2015 or have never been a partner at a National Land Conference
  • The Company must not have raised over ten (10) Million Dollars in funding from combined funding sources

What We Are Asking:

  • Year the company was founded
  • What’s your elevator pitch? Explain why land professionals would benefit from your company’s work. (<250 words)
  • What market are you addressing?
  • What problems are you trying to solve?
  • Describe your Solution.
  • Contact information
  • References (at least 1 required)
  • Amount of funding to date

How Companies Are Chosen:

The Future Leaders Committee will serve as the judging committee. They will determine the winning companies based on the effectiveness of the pitch and how it relates to land professionals.

We are looking for companies that have products and services that will help land professionals.

Marketing:

Send email in January, to announce the winners and promote all NLC Partners.These blastswill serve the dual purpose of marketing the Accelerator Pitch program and encouraging people to register.

The call for submissions for the Accelerator Pitch program will be in each issue of LandNews until entries are closed

We will promote on the Members Facebook page to encourage them to reach out to companies that could apply for this program.

Website:

A Google doc form has been created to accept entries. During the submission process, the page will include an overview of the program and a link to the Google Form to submit.

After we announce the participants, the Accelerator Pitch page will include the logo of each company, a brief description of each company and link to the company’s website.

Research:

RLI Staff and the Future Leaders Committee will provide a list of potential participants, which will be contacted directly after the program, is officially announced.
