Content / The piece successfully addresses the topic or question, following all guidelines outlined by the assignment. / The piece mostly addresses the topic or question, following most of the guidelines outlined by the assignment. / The piece adequately addresses the topic or question, following some of the guidelines outlined by the assignment. / The piece struggles to address the topic or question and follows few of the guidelines outlined by the assignment.
Language / The piece contains language that is appropriate for the assignment. The student used a wide variety of sentence types and strong word choices. / The piece contains language that is mostly appropriate for the assignment. Needs Improvement (70) / Student writes with minimally relevant ideas or information, obvious gaps in organization, obvious problems in reasoning, minimal understanding of the task, and presents an incomplete response with several inaccuracies.

The slides contain bulleted points of quality information, are written with correct grammar and spelling, and are appropriately styled in terms of font, color, and layout. If applicable, a Works Cited slide is included, and all graphic organizers are complete.
