The Arts Trust of Scotland / Emerging artists who live and work in Scotland, whose work adds to the reputation of Scotland's arts community and helps the individuals to develop their skills and ideas. Applications are mainly judged on the 'artistic quality of the project and verification of the artists potential'. / Range between £500 and £2,000, although awards are rarely made at the upper limit. The Esdaile Trust /

Ministers of the Church of Scotland or Deaconesses of the Church of Scotland who are widows and missionaries appointed or nominated by the Overseas Council of the Church of Scotland with daughters at secondary school and university.
