There is1 position available working in the Team Crew area providing linguistic, administrative and operational assistance. The actual position will be allocated after 2nd stage recruitment.
Examples of the tasks and responsibilities of the Team Crew Assistant are:
Assist one HB production or technical team of UEFA EURO 2012 in all logistical aspects
Assist the venue team with translation and interpretation of both verbal and written communication
Helping supervise the catering voucher distribution and catering times for HB staff
Assist with team bus presence and departures, local tips and knowledge
Helping with hotel check-in and check-out procedures and group flight check-ins
Assist with any accommodation or uniform issues the team might have
Managing the needs of the crew on site: e.g. catering voucher distribution
Monitor data input process into internal UEFA database for HB staff and suppliers
Assists external companies to comply with data input guidelines
General linguistic, logistic and admin assistance
Required skills
Full clean driving license / Able to take instructions and deliver required tasks to a high professional level
Intermediate Microsoft Word & Excel skills / Good knowledge of the City and access routes
Able to communicate well in busy work environments / Able to remain calm and collective in busy environments

1)Team Crew Assistant: start from 01.06.2012 to 03.07.2012, average 20 days in total
Important Remark:
The working schedules will be confirmed following the 2nd stage recruitment process and in time for you to compare and adjust against your study commitments.
Approx. Working Hours / 9 hours per shift (can be more on match days, depending on business needs) for all positions.
Please note that shifts are on all days of the week (Monday to Sunday).
Salary / 40 Euros per day for all positions
Salary Payments / 1 payment for all days worked at the end of the tournament.

Full Adidas uniform provided which can be kept after the tournament – must be worn complete at all times when working – No other sports brands are allowed to be worn.
Catering vouchers for working days (1 per day).
Key dates for the Programme
End of June 2011 / Submission to UEFA of successful 1st stage candidates
October 2011 / Second stage interview process held with recruiting managers from UEFA
November 2011 / Successful students into the programme confirmed
February/March 2012: / E-learning training organised
March - June 2012 (dependant on start date): 1 day paid (dates tbc) / Venue induction training organised
Reserve Pool & Payment Structure
The purpose of the reserve pool is to have people on stand-by to cover any urgent absences at the venues. If you are selected for the reserve pool you will be expected to be available on all days during the tournament and come into the venue at short notice to work.

Payments are made on the following basis:
- If you are not called in during the tournament to work you will be paid a retainer fee of 125 Euros.
- If you are called in to work and attend, you will be paid the relevant daily rate in addition to the retainer fee.
- If you are called in to work and fail to attend, you receive no payment.
Important awareness
The Logistics Assistant should be focused on what is happening in their working area and be able to react quickly to the needs of the HB Venue Logistics Manager. This means that your interest should be on what is happening in your area of responsibility not on the occasion itself.
The job will involve shift work, with possible late night finishes, and work on weekends. Days off can be taken in agreement with your line manager but you must be available for the whole period of the job, irrespective of the day of the week. Therefore please ensure that your study commitments do not clash with the needs of the position and that you are able to manage both at the same time. For the long term positions, a work rota will be created in order to share the work between all assistants therefore your work schedule will spread at the start but as the tournament gets closer you will revert to full time hours.
