The Nova Scotia Recreation Professionals in Health, (NSRPH), the Therapeutic Recreation Association of Atlantic Canada (TRAAC),and the Canadian Therapeutic Recreation Association (CTRA) are proud to host the 22ndAnnual CTRA Conference. This conference will provide the opportunity to connect, network, learn and re-ignite your TR passion. Please join us next summer in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia!
CONFERENCE THEME: Navigating the Tide, Revitalizing Our Practice
CTRA along with NSRPH and TRAAC inviteTherapeutic Recreation/RecreationTherapy professionals, educators, and students to submit abstracts for the 2018 CTRA Practice Poster Session. The primary purpose for practice poster presentations is to showcase intervention programs that produce client outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to share recent successes and challenges with fellow professionals. Session Format: Presenters create a poster that will be fastened to a freestanding display panel. Suggested size for posters is up to 48 by 60 inches. Design, coloration, etc., is up to the author, but the poster should look professional and be easy to read from four feet away. Each poster should have at least one individual available during the actual poster session. Benefits of participation: Networking, initiates collaboration efforts, provides service to the profession, receives feedback for professional developmentand helps promote the benefits of therapeutic recreation among a diverse audience of CTRA delegates!
NOTE: Presenters are responsible for their own meals, accommodation, transportation, CEU fees and registration (at a reduced speaker rate).
