Pre-Placement Consideration
If you have secured a work placement or industry project, congratulations!
This has the potential to be an incredibly valuable experience, and may be that ‘thing’ that one day tips the balance, helping you to secure the job of your dreams (no matter what your plans for the future may be).
In order to get the most out of the placement or project, it is vital that you actively consider the opportunity thoroughly before commencement, throughout, and at the end of the experience.
This document should be completed prior to commencement in the position and referred tothroughout, to ensure that you are on track to enhanced employability.
Use the template below and log your thoughts against each item. Don’t be limited by the prompts, as the list is not exhaustive. Use the additional space to add rows and log whatever comes up; you might even be surprised.
