Youth Specialist

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS Starr Commonwealth Hannah Neil Center in Columbus, OH seeks energetic, strength-based candidates to work as part of a treatment team to provide leadership to culturally diverse adolescent male population. Applicants must posses strong value system, courage in the face of resistance and exceptional problem solving skills. Essential functions include: Working closely with treatment team in constructing and maintaining treatment plans for individual youth and for group, assist in organizing and supervising work assignments, community service projects, group activities, and teach basic living skills. Strength-based program addresses problems of troubled youth referred by the court system. BA /BS in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields preferred. Salary range is $10.41 - $11.25 with health benefits after 90 day waiting period. EOE.
