Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter this Promotion and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
2. By entering the Promotion, entrants acknowledge that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed to be an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
4. The Promotion commences on the Tuesdaybefore each home game with notification through the Member EDMand entries close on the Thursday5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time of the same week (AEST) (Promotional Period).
5. The Promotion is only open to "Eligible Entrants". Subject to these Terms and Conditions, an Eligible Entrant is a person who (a) is an Australian resident; (b) is 13 years or older at the time of entry; (c) is a Facebook user; (d) has obtained permission to enter this Promotion from a parent/legal guardian if under 18 years of age at the time of entry; and (e) submits their entry into this Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
6. Employees, managers and directors of any of the Promoter, the Promoter's related companies and agencies involved in this Promotion, and their immediate families, are not Eligible Entrants.
7. To enter the Promotion, an entrant must during the Promotional Period:
(a) fill in the required information including name, email address,
(b) answer in 25 words or less ‘why you should be the lucky contestant’?
8. Entrants may only enter once.
9. All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter upon submission.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries in its absolute discretion. The Promoter also reserves the right not to accept or display on the Promotion Page, and to remove from the Promotion Page, any Photo or Comment at its sole discretion.For example, the Promoter may disqualify: (a) any entries that tamper with, or attempt to tamper with the entry process; (b) incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries or entries containing incorrect contact details; (c) any entries that contain material that is obscene, indecent, objectionable, defamatory, libelous or otherwise contravenes an applicable law or infringes any third party's rights; (d) any entries that the Promoter considers inappropriate for any reason; (e) any individuals found entering who corrupt or affect, or attempt to corrupt or affect, the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the entry process. The Promoter's decision in relation to disqualificationis final and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and the mandatory details provided by entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, parental/legal guardian permission (where applicable) and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The identification necessary for verification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
12. The Promoter’s decision on all aspects relating to this Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. The entrants selected as the winnerwill be notified by email at the address nominated in their entry form (unless the entrant has otherwise notified the Promoter in accordance with clause 27).The Promoter will use all reasonable efforts to contact the entrants selected as the winnerby email but accepts no responsibility if the entrant cannot be contacted. If an entrant selected as the winner or runner up cannot be contacted by emailwithin 24 hours, or is unable to accept any element of the prize, then that entrant will forfeit the prize in its entirety and the entrant with the next best entry (as determined by the judging panel) will be selected as the winner. The Promoter will not be liable for a winnerwho cannot be contacted and therefore forfeits their prize and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The winner will winthe opportunity to participate in the Webjet Half-Time Challenge to kick a goal for the prize of a $2,000 Webjet voucher.
15. In order to be confirmed as the winner or runner up an entrant must, at the request of the Promoter by 19thDecember 2011 (or such other date agreed with the Promoter):
(a) enter into an agreement with the Promoter on terms specified by the Promoter, which will include (if required by the Promoter):
(i) requirements to participate in, and co-operate with the Promoter in relation to, such editorial and promotional activities reasonably required by the Promoter relating to the Promotion, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed for the purpose of promoting the Promotion (including any outcome) and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter;
Entrants who are not able to comply with this paragraph will be disqualified from eligibility as the winner of the prize.
16. Any additional costs associated with prize fulfillment, including travel, accommodation and other expenses will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
17. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied unless authorized by the Promoter. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The prize cannot be sold to any other person (including via any online auction or private sale).
18. The winner (and any companions) accepts the prize at their own risk. Neither the Promoter, nor any of its employees, contractors and agents (nor employees of its contractors and agents) will be liable for any liability, loss, damage or expense (including direct, indirect or consequential loss or loss of profits), or death or personal injury, suffered or incurred (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, this Promotion, the provision of the prize, use or participation in the prize or promotion of this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
19. If awinner of a prize is under 18 years of age, the winner’s parent or guardian must give permission in writing for the entrant to participate and must accept responsibility for the acts and forbearances of the entrant under 18 years of age and the risks posed by participating in the prize (or components thereof). Failure to provide such proof or releases will immediately invalidate the winner’s entitlement to the prize.
20.The personal information an entrant provides to enter this Promotion is collected by the Sydney Football Club(SFC) and will not be passed onto to any partners.
SFC may also use entrant's personal information to send the entrant news, product information and promotional offers.
If an entrant does not provide the personal information requested, they may not be able to enter the Promotion. If inaccurate or incomplete personal information is provided, the Promoter may determine that the entrant is ineligible to win a prize. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names published as required under relevant lottery legislation.
A request to access, update or correct any information held by the Promoter should be directed to the Promoter at the address below.
21. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of the Promoter. Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
22. Each entrant must comply with these Terms and Conditions. Each entrant indemnifies and will keep indemnified the Promoter in relation to all loss and damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) by the Promoter as a direct or indirect result of the entrant acting inconsistently with or breaching any part of these Terms and Conditions.
23. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotional Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter in writing.
24.The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence, whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt in the Promotional database.
25. Entrants acknowledge that the Internet is not a secure medium and that the Promoter is not responsible for the security of on-line entries.
26. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the promotion should be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
