Describe your project in terms of the guest experience it will provide and how it is structured to increase lodging occupancy in Lincoln City.

  1. Target Audience:

Describe the audience your project will reach. Age, sex, geographic location and any other important defining characteristics

  1. Project Goals:

a)How many out of area visitors do you expect to attract to the project? How have you determined this goal?

b)Does your project extend visitor length of stay? Does it help convert daytrippers into overnight guests? How will you track the effectiveness of your project in delivering longer stays in Lincoln City?

  1. Qualifications of Applicant:

a)Describe your organization/project management team. How are these individuals qualified to lead this project?

b)Describe your team’s experience in operating past or similar projects.

  1. Additional Funding:

a)Describe sources of funding for your project outside of the grant request. Note current plans to secure additional funding. Demonstrate organization’s financial need for this project. Please use the budget spreadsheet provided with this application.

b)List your potential sponsors and partners and how they contribute to the event or project in terms of cash, barter and in-kind support. Please use the volunteer hours sheet provided with this application.

  1. Metrics:

Describe in detail how you will track, evaluate and report the success of your program.

  1. Support:

a)Describe the support of the community for this project, including partners, sponsors, volunteers and other contributors. Attach a minimum of three letters of recommendation from members of the community.

  1. Call to Action

a)How will you note Lincoln City support of your event or project in a manner which will enhance traffic to the VCB website, complement VCB social media efforts and/or otherwise assist in efforts to provide potential guests with information on Lincoln City as a vacation destination?

  1. Media, PR, Social Media and Promotion

a)Provide a detailed timeline of your marketing efforts leading up to the event/project noting planned use of media, PR, social media and promotion to raise awareness of your project to potential visitors more than 50 miles away from Lincoln City. Note the portion of this you that will be supported by a grant award.

Can your project be accomplished if you do not receive grant support? Explain how this award will increase your likelihood of success.
