TheArcMaster1400 produces the very finest Anti-Corrosion coatings. It is designed around a small, lightweight, hand held gun. It utilizes two gearboxes linked by a patented drive system, which provides consistent, reliable, and trouble-free operation.

This drive system guarantees that the ‘push’ and ‘pull’ elements can not be out of synchronization, thereby ensuring consistent wire feeding, over distances up to 20 meters. The proven Constant Geometry sprayhead, makes this system an excellent choice, for all hand held Arc Spray applications.

ArcMaster 1400 Specifications

The design of the ArcMaster 1400 Gun improves productivity, and coating quality. It is a very lightweight unit, of sturdy, compact construction, suitable for all applications up to 350 amps. A patented CG (constant geometry) head, comes with each gun, along with lightweight cables, and a powerful motor, able to spray the full range of materials. A trigger at the gun, starts and stops the wire feed mechanism. Various gun holding and support options are available for any application.

The ArcMaster 1400 System was initially designed and developed for 'hand held' Anti-Corrosive applications; but, due to its unique design, and portability, operators now use it in every conceivable application. The revolutionary drive system employs a push/pull system, with the added benefit of the pushing unit and the gun drive, being positively synchronized; so that both units always work together to give the most positive wire feed. This patented system means that a distance from the wire source of 10 meters is now the norm, with available options of 20 meters, and 5 meters (typically used with a 1.6mm gun for tooling and screening.).

For robotic use, an electric drive system is available, using a powerful servomotor. The ArcMaster 1400 incorporates an advanced design of spraying head, which will repeatedly reproduce consistent coating textures and properties.

SPRAYING HEADS

The ArcMaster 1400 will accept a range of spray heads, including extension and deflector heads for spraying inside bores. The CG Head, designed specifically for the ArcMaster 1400, will give more consistent coatings, and eliminates the need for using different systems for different applications. The CG Head accepts different contact tubes, depending on the wire size, and simple nozzle and aircap changes are available to accommodate the different applications.

CABLES

The ArcMaster 1400 Gun uses cables, which reduce weight, and improve gun handling, by combining the supply of air and electricity to the gun. These cables have a maximum current capacity of 350 amps. Do not use them above this rating.

WIRE DRIVE UNITS

The ArcMaster 1400 Gun uses a constant mesh drive system, to maintain reliability. The 1400 is fitted with an improved, more powerful air motor, to give smoother starting and stopping. Motor speeds are available, to suit all applications, and a choice of control systems is available.

GUN HANDLING

For manual spraying operations, the gun is held by the handle, located conveniently at the ideal balance position. The gun may be supplied with a sturdily designed tool post holder, for mechanized spraying, and where bores are to be sprayed, the gun may be located on a boom for longer reach. When not in use, the gun may be held in a convenient position, by the hollow in the base of the handle, or by the optional toolpost mounting plate.
