/ If you don’t know what type of file your video is, you can find out by right-clicking on the file, view properties and the file extension (the part of your file name after the dot) tells you the file type. E.g. MyVid.wmv . If you still have problems, contact the ILT UnitIn the text box editor, click on the relevant icon for your video file-type.
A new dialogue box should open up :-
Click Browse and navigate to your file.
Set the width and height attributes of your movie – usually, 400 pixels is a good size.
It is not good practise to have the movie auto start when the page loads so we recommend you leave the default Autostart settings to No.
Click on the arrow head next to Controls to select either full, mini or no controls (this displays the start, pause, fast-forward, etc controls).
Click Submit .
A new dialogue box will open showing your video file in the player as it will appear in Blackboard. Click Submit .
Now scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Submit again to save the item in to your content area.
