Nominations for Hall of Fame
The Blanchard Public Schools Education Foundation (BPSEF) is currently seeking nominations for the Blanchard Public Schools Hall of Fame. There are two categories of eligibility for nomination. Nominees can satisfy one or both categories. There will not necessarily be an award for each category every year.
Category 1 – Blanchard Student Lifetime Achievement Award
-The nominee must have attended Blanchard Public Schools.
-The nominee must have achieved excellence in a field of endeavor, profession or vocation with community, state or national recognition.
-The nominee should be a person of outstanding moral character who would bring pride to the schools and community of Blanchard and to the BPSEF.
Category 2 – Blanchard Educational Service Award
-The nominee must have distinguished him or herself with a history of outstanding support of the Blanchard Public School System.
-The nominee will have demonstrated commitment and gone beyond the call of duty to make a lasting educational contribution to the Blanchard Public School System.
-The nominee should be a person of outstanding moral character who would bring pride to the schools and community of Blanchard and to the BPSEF.
In addition to the criteria, the inductee must be available to appear in person at the Hall of Fame Banquet on November 7, 2017. If the nominee is deceased, a representative may accept a posthumous award.
The Hall of Fame Banquet is an annual fund-raising event for the Blanchard Public Schools Education Foundation. The foundation was established in 2004 as a broadly based non-profit organization whose purposes are exclusively education and charitable. The BPSEF was designed to secure and distribute contributions and gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations for the benefit of the students of Blanchard Public School System.
