A.  Login to the e-Capex

The application URL is: https://portal.shredit/e-requisition

  1. Enter your user name and password
  2. Click on the “Login” link

Note:

Your login account (user name and password) is the same as for your email account.

Choose either Capex or Travel to continue. Turn to page 4 of this document to complete a Capex or page 7 to complete a travel request.


The screen below will be displayed.

B.  Create a new request

1.  Click on the Create a new request link to generate the request.

2.  In the next screen fill out the required fields and save draft the request.

The “Save Draft” action will allow you to add notes to the approver for supporting your request.

If you do not have any notes to add or any files to attach to your request, then go to step 7.

3.  Add a note to the request by clicking on the Create a note link. (refer to page nine for detailed screen shots of this process).

3.  Save the note.

4.  Attach a file – if necessary.

5.  Click on the Back link to go back at your request screen as shown below.

6.  Submit your request by clicking the Submit Request link.

Note:

To submit the request at a later time make sure you have pressed Save Draft link.

7.  After submission, the request will be add to your requests list.

Note:

Only the requests that are not submitted (shown as draft in status column) can be modified.

NOTE

To Delete or Cancel a Request please refer to page 10 of this document.


Making sure your browser is 128bit Encrypted

1. Open Internet Explorer – Click Help on the toolbar and then select About Internet Explorer, and you will see the following dialog box:

2. Where it says Cipher Strength it must be set to 128-bit

3. If it is set to a lower number then you will need to upgrade the Cipher Strength of your browser.

4. Go to the following web site to download and install the 128-bit feature. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/128bit/default.asp

5. Once you are on this page please select the appropriate download link for your Operating System and install.

·  If you have Windows 2000, and want to update to 128-bit Encryption, click on the link Windows 2000 High Encryption Pack from the site link above.

·  If you have an Internet Explorer version lower than 6.0, and using Windows 98, click on the appropriate link on the right had side of the page to upgrade your Internet Browser to 128-bit High Encryption.

C.  e-Travel - Approval and Process

Approval is necessary before any trip is booked.

Approvals are as follows.

BRANCH / General Manager / $1 - $1000
Vice President / $1001 - $2000
COO / >$2001
Support Center / Vice President / $1 - $2000
COO / Pesident / >$2001

The process is as follows:

D.  Login to e-Travel

Log in to the site as outlined on page 3.

The screen below will be displayed

Click on e Travel button to enter a travel request

E.  Create new Travel Request

1.Click on Create new travel request link

2. The page below will now be displayed:

3. Fill in all required fields. Press Save Draft link.

The screen below will be displayed. You have three options at this point:
1.Create a note 2.Submit Request or 3.Delete.

F.  Create a Note

1.  Press Create a note if you wish to add or attach any additional information or documentation.

a. The following screen will be displayed.

b. Press Save link to save note

c. The screen below will appear. You may Attach a document or press Back to return to original entry screen (Figure E above)

G.  Submit Request

2.  Verify that the details have been entered correctly. (Figure E on pg 9)

Press the Submit Request link

Note: The screen below will be displayed. Notice that the Status column shows this first entry as Pending. The second entry, showing as Draft, has not been sent for approval – meaning the Submit Request link was not pressed.

H.  Delete Request (before submitting)

3. Press Delete link -Figure E on page 9- to erase all entered information. Original create ticket screen will be displayed, as shown above.

I.  Cancel Request (after submitting)

1.  Press the Date link of the request you wish to cancel.

2.  The screen below will appear.

3.  Press the Cancel Request link.

4.  The request has been removed from the status screen as seen below.
