We seek an intern who is actively enrolled as a full time student pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Material Science, Manufacturing Engineering, MEMS, Physics, Semiconductors, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field., at a four-year university. This intern will work with a cross functional team that interacts across different areas of wafer fabrication processing to improve yield and overall product performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Metrology Engineer Intern you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing detailed data from semiconductor metrology and inspection tools in support of cutting-edge MEMS-based piezoelectric inkjet printhead development and production. Work will also require assisting in documentation process, experimental design and qualification of test equipment. Part of this job will require programming skills to help develop automated processes for collecting and correlation of data. Additionally, you will be working in a clean room environment, requiring clean room gowning (smock, hood, gloves, booties, etc.).
QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:
· Level of Junior or above and in good standing at a four-year university enrolled as a full time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Material Science, MEMS, Physics, Semiconductors, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
· Hands-on experience with metrology tools preferred.
· Knowledge of statistical tools like Minitab or JMP or other analysis tools would be a plus.
· Working knowledge of programming and statistical analysis preferred.
· Semiconductor process coursework.
· Work experience in related field through co-op, internship, or projects
· Self-motivation and enthusiasm
· Good problem solving skills, acceptance of responsibility and good work ethic
· Able to work in teams on various projects and efficiently communicate results to various teams.
· Detail oriented and able to clearly document work done.
· Ability to analyze data and communicate results.
