The Learning Centre is a unique and distinct part of MBS’s Executive Education business. MBS is growing its digital learning capability and is seeking an enthusiastic digital learning specialist to join the team in the capacity of Learning Platform Manager. Reporting to the Senior Consultant, Digital Learning the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the successful day-to-day operation, maintenance and administration of the Executive Education learning platform (Canvas by Instructure) and other learning technologies, helping MBS project teams to use digital learning technologies effectively and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manages the configuration of MBS’Canvas platform, whilst also driving improvements and providing expert advice in the functionality and utilisation of the platform to Executive Education stakeholders and project teams
  • Champions and provides learning technologies support and training
  • Documents and maintains core business processes and procedures for the use of the platform and technologies across different Executive Education programs
  • Gathers learner metrics from a variety of learning technologies and stays abreast of new methods of data gathering, in addition proactively identify potential system-integration difficulties and data-quality concerns
  • Work with MBS Digital Learning consultants to help project teams define data goals and measures of learner engagement

Key Selection Criteria:

  • A passion for learning technologies
  • Previous demonstrated experience with cloud-based digital learning platforms, Canvas preferred,other platform expertise considered.
  • Demonstrate an effective support style consistent with Executive Education practices and processes
  • Strong technical aptitude, able to understand software applications, performing technical tasks quickly and accurately
  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder expectations
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
