MXM'S MOBILE PRACTICE, THE HYPERFACTORY, GROWS LEADERSHIP WITH APPOINTMENT OF ADAM GOLD AS MANAGING DIRECTOR, NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

NEW YORK, N.Y. (August 28, 2012) -- Meredith Xcelerated Marketing (MXM), Meredith Corporation’s (NYSE:MDP; ) global customer engagement agency, announced today that Adam Gold has joined as Managing Director, New Business Development for the agency’s Mobile Practice, The Hyperfactory.

Gold is responsible for leading new business and marketing initiatives, as well as maintaining and growing key accounts. He is based in MXM’s New York office.

Gold joins MXM from Scanbury, Inc. where he served as Vice President, North American Sales. Previously he was President, Apogee Consulting, and prior to that, served as Sr. Sales Director, Advertising Age at Crain Communications, Inc. Before joining Crain Communications, Gold was Vice President, New Business Development at The Coastal Group then Vice President, New Business Development at Whereoware LLC. Earlier in his career, he held various positions in advertising sales.

Gold earned a BA from the University of Maryland.
